Social programme/Excursion
Sunday 14th October
From 15:30 to 18:00 we will have a guided tour through the city of Venice.
We will start at Don Orione Artigianelli, the conference hotel, the exact
itinerary will depend on the weather. The idea is to end in the Cannareggio
district, close to the Ghetto. We will try to book a table for common dinner
on Fondamenta Misericordia.
Monday 15th October
At 20:00 we will have the social dinner, at San Trovaso restaurant, around
the corner from Don Orione Artigianelli.
Wednesday 17th October, 21:00 to 22:30
We organise a guided nocturnal visit to St Mark's including the crypt and
the Pala d'Oro. We will meet on Piazza San Marco, next to the side entrance
to St Mark's, at the foot of the clock tower (not the Campanile). Details
on the meeting point will be given at the meeting.
