Fractional calculus and
applications
In honour of Profs Rudolf
Gorenflo and Theo F Nonnenmacher
University of Potsdam, 6th &
7th September 2018
Organisers
Yuri Luchko, Beuth-Hochschule Berlin
Francesco Mainardi, Università di Bologna
Ralf Metzler, University of Potsdam
Scope
This meeting brings together mathematicians and applied scientists using
the tools of fractional calculus to describe temporal or spatial properties
of complex systems. Topics covered are fractional relaxation and diffusion
processes, special functions, and their applications to physical, biological,
and technical systems. The meeting is dedicated to the late Professors
Rudolf Gorenflo and Theo F Nonnenmacher, two pioneers of the field of
fractional calculus and its applications.
