Students have to fill out the students file which is to be submitted over the local EMSPS coordinator (coordinator of the home university), who transfers the file to the EMSPS coordinator of the host university.
After acceptance, the students applies directly via the international relations office web site. Later the student enrols at the university in normal procedure as explained at the information web site of the international relations office.
At present, 4 study places are available.
Amongst students, serious consideration will be given to the level of recommendation from the home university, after which priority will be given to achieve a wide geographical spread of acceptances. Students are asked to get a letter of recommendation from a member of the academic staff of their home university who knows their work well. Students are advised that particular attention will be paid to this letter as a basis of selecting students for acceptance.
Students should be in their 2nd until 4th year of studies and should have sufficient knowledge of German to be able to follow the lectures.
Students and local coordinators should send the application written in German (which is preferred) or English.
The application deadline for the following winter semester is July 15th, for the following summer semester January 15th. Therefore, the deadline for submission of the students file to the home EMSPS coordinator is a month earlier: June 15th and December 15th, resp.
